Shira has been editing fiction and documentary films since 2005.
Her passion for editing and her knack for timing, narrative and storytelling probably has much to do with her background both as an actress and a DJ.

Shira has won the Israeli Academy Award for Best Editing of "Our Father" by Meni Yaesh and the Editing Award for "Antenna" by Arik Rotstein in Haifa International Film Festival 2016.

Latest News - "Poliker: The Child Whithin Me", by Eti Aneta-Segev which Shira was the editor of as well as Co-Writer, opened the DocAviv International Documetary Film Festival, 2023.

Shira is also an experienced music consultant, one of her major projects was music research for the critically acclaimed feature film "Borat" (20th Century Fox).
